Hungry Reacts is looking for creative writers and journalists who can produce high-quality content! Professional writers and editors, as well as passionate wordsmiths with experience in food world, food reviews, nutrition, and travel to apply. This is a remote opportunity and international topics are also encouraged. We have two types of writing opportunities at Hungry Reacts, including paid freelance articles and unpaid guest articles.

The Hook: What is the main point of the article?
Impact Points: Five bullet points explaining why this topic is important and why it will resonate with our readers.
Originality Check: Ensure the topic is related to food/ag and has not been covered by us before (use the search bar on our site).
Relevance & Timeliness: A few lines explaining why this matters now, including a link to a study or a reliable news source.
Evidence: Potential sources, including relevant reports, links, or articles.
Expert Perspectives: Ideas or contact info for potential interviewees.

Hungry Reacts Submission Guidelines
If you are submitting a completed draft, ensure it meets the following criteria:
Titles: Provide three catchy title options.
Word Count: 800 words maximum. Articles exceeding this limit will not be considered.
Citations: Use hyperlinks within the text; do not use footnotes.
Visuals: Include a landscape photo (1500 x 900 px, under 800 kb) with proper citation and a caption, or suggest a specific photo from istockphoto.com.
Teasers:
Long Teaser: Under 20 words.
Short Teaser: Under 160 characters.
Author Info: Include a short bio and a high-resolution headshot.
